A crash involving a box truck and a pickup truck is causing major traffic disruptions in Bloomingdale.

The collision happened on Main Street and has forced the closure of the roadway between Union Avenue and Reeve Avenue.

Officials say the crash brought down a utility pole and knocked down numerous power lines.

The road is expected to remain closed for more than eight hours as crews work to clear the scene and make repairs.

The cause of the crash has not been released.

Officials have not said whether anyone was injured.
