New Jersey residents prepared for another weekend round snow after wintry weather created some slippery conditions on roads around New Jersey on Saturday.
Drivers saw lots of slush in the early part of the afternoon as the snow began to lighten up.
Cleaning crews were out with shovels and plows from out west in Hunterdon County down to the central part of the state in Middlesex County.
Many worked well into the evening clearing snow to make way for what's expected to be another round of snow on Sunday.
"It's been really clear on the highway. Ridgewood, where I left, was still snowy, but everything on the highway's been great, " one driver told News 12. "If you want to get on the highway, you've got to go on the shoulder. So, you've got to make sure the shoulder's actually clear."
Other residents spent the day stocking up on essentials, like salt, ahead of Sunday's wintery weather.
"I heard three inches or so. I don't know how much, but I know that we ran out of salt. So, my husband told me to run out and get some before it starts," said one shopper in Pennington.
