35m agoMarket Street has reopened in Newark following a cooking oil spill.
The spill was located at the intersection of McCarter Highway and Market Street and forced emergency crews to shut down part of the road.
Sanding trucks were deployed to the area to help absorb the oil.
No injuries have been reported.
It was not immediately clear what caused the spill to take place.
