        Connecticut athletes compete in the 2024 Paris Paralympics

        Athletes from across Connecticut are going for gold.

        The 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris are underway, and some Connecticut athletes are representing Team USA.
        Over the weekend, Ali Truwit from Darien swam in the women's 100-meter freestyle. She came in sixth place.
        Ben Washburne from Madison and his rowing crew came in second place, landing them silver medals.
        On Tuesday morning, Sydney Satchell from Windsor competed in sitting volleyball against Italy. Team USA won 3-0.
