1h agoCommunity Housing Innovations, also known as CHI, hosted its annual Homeownership Expo in White Plains Saturday afternoon for anyone in the area looking for practical and financial housing advice.
Dozens of people and over 20 vendors attended the event, which aimed to answer questions and offer advice for first-time home buyers and those who already own.
Some participating vendors included Ridgewood, PCSB, Creative Wave Realty Group, Sustainable Westchester and the NYS Division of Human Rights.
"We support people in achieving the dream of home ownership. As we know, affordable housing is a massive issue nationally...But there are means. There are possibilities for us to really support people owning a home," said CEO Ron Abad with Community Housing Innovations.
