        Cloudy with on and off showers for Sunday on Long Island

        Long Island will see cloudy skies with periods of rain showers on Sunday but dry moments as well.

        WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
        - Gloomy weekend will continue so keep the raingear nearby as breezy, cloudy and damp will be the conditions throughout Sunday.
        - The remnants of Helene continue to spin off to the south, but on the outskirts of the storm is a gloomy and drizzly weekend.
        - A few isolated showers and sprinkles are likely tonight but clouds will remain in the skies with winds becoming breezier into Sunday.
        - Sunday remains cloudy with drizzle and highs in the upper-60s.
        - Peeks of sunshine return for the work week with a passing shower possible.
        - A few showers are possible again for Tuesday and Wednesday but not likely to be widespread.
        - The end of the week looks beautiful with highs in the low-70s.
        FORECAST
        OVERNIGHT: Cloudy, with a few showers and sprinkles with areas of fog developing. Lows near 60 degrees.
        SUNDAY: Gloomy with drizzle and some showers. It will be breezy to start the day. Highs in the mid- to upper-60s. Lows in the upper-50s.
        MONDAY: Mostly cloudy with peeks of sunshine during the day. Highs near 70 degrees.
        TUESDAY: Cloudy with showers possible late in the day. Highs near 70 degrees. Lows in the mid-50s.
        WEDNESDAY: Cloudy with peeks of sunshine. Highs near 70 degrees. Lows in the low-50s.
