        Clear skies overnight mean you may get to see the northern lights; temps dip into the 30s

        Temperatures will rebound nicely tomorrow. We are looking at mainly sunny skies and seasonable temperatures for Friday.

        There will be some excitement in the evening sky. It's possible from sunset to about midnight that the northern lights could show up on New Jersey's northern horizon. While it would show up best using a camera and night mode (long exposure) there is a small chance the pink and green hues could be visible with the naked eye. You just need to have some patience and dress warmly. It's going to get pretty chilly, pretty quickly tonight.
        Speaking of the cold, frost advisories have been issued. Most neighborhoods will drop into the upper-30s and frost is likely.
        Temperatures will rebound nicely tomorrow. We are looking at mainly sunny skies and seasonable temperatures for Friday.
        The weekend is fair. Saturday is better than Sunday. Hopefully, we get some much-needed showers Sunday night.
        OVERNIGHT: Clear skies with lows in the upper-30s.
        FRIDAY: Plenty of sunshine with highs in the upper-60s and low-70s. Clear overnight with lows around 56.
        SATURDAY: Except for a few afternoon clouds, mainly sunny. High around 75. Clear overnight with lows around 51.
        SUNDAY: Partly cloudy with highs in the upper-60s. Overcast with a chance of some rain overnight. Lows around 56.
