It's a great day today with highs near 64. The sun continues to shine through the next several days and the night sky remains clear. Tonight's low will be near 44 in the northeastern areas of the state. However, the air will be colder away from the urban areas - in the mid-30s. This will allow frost to form and damage sensitive vegetation. Farmers/gardeners should take necessary precautions to protect their crops from damage.
Tomorrow's temperatures rebound nicely by the afternoon with highs reaching near 72. Saturday's sun shines bright with highs near 75. Sunday looks good, too, with highs near 72 with late day clouds and a passing overnight shower. Some showers may linger early on Monday morning, but the sun shines by the afternoon. It turns cooler next week with highs that struggle to get into the mid-60s. It will be chilly and cold at night too.
Hurricane Milton is moving offshore of Cape Canaveral now - where it will shuffle into the open Atlantic Ocean. Nearly 18 inches of rain and over 100 mph winds have been reported with this storm as it crossed Florida.
