        Chief: Firefighters rescue person from Lake Carmel house fire

        Lake Carmel's fire chief told News 12 that responders arrived at 16 Marion Way after the incident was called in.

        An early-morning fire broke out at a home in Lake Carmel in the Town of Kent, sending three people to the hospital.
        Lake Carmel's fire chief told News 12 that responders arrived at 16 Marion Way after the incident was called in.
        Multiple fire departments responded. The chief said three people were inside of the home – two were able to get themselves outside, the other was rescued by firefighters.
        The chief said he was unaware of any injuries or fatalities. A fire-investigating dog and drones were deployed to help investigate the cause of the fire.
        The chief said the house was severely damaged.
