5ds agoA United States Military Academy at West Point cadet and his father saved a man's life after an early Sunday morning crash in Fort Montgomery.
Video captured the moment when Larry Pickett, Jr. and Larry Pickett Sr. got the man out of the car and carried him across Route 9-W to safety.
The Fort Montgomery Fire Department said the car struck a utility pole, which resulted in the vehicle bursting into flames after the crash.
The department added that the driver was conscious and alert when it arrived on the scene.
A cause of the crash was not immediately known as of Sunday night.
