Male professionals came together over the weekend to encourage the next generation in The Bronx. The Boys to Men sit down conference took place Saturday in Wakefield. It was hosted by The Bronx Youth Empowerment Program. Organizers say the goal was to guide young boys, ages 8 to 22, with lessons in leadership, discipline and self-confidence. Community mentors shared advice and personal stories to help these boys navigate life and plan for the future. Guests included actor James C.B. Gray and retired NBA player Etan Thomas.
