ALERT:
There is a FROST ADVISORY in effect for tonight for select parts of Bergen, Union, and Essex counties.
FORECAST:
Last night's abrasive winds will calm to near 25-30 mph today and temperatures will also follow suit. It only reaches near 50-53 degrees this afternoon under a sky with many clouds and some sunny breaks.
The temperatures will continue to fall tonight into tomorrow with lows near 28-33 degrees across most of New Jersey. The only places with temperatures above freezing will be northeast and coastal areas.
Temps rebound to the upper 50s tomorrow, maybe getting to near 60 in central and southern New Jersey under a mostly cloudy sky.
There will be rain overnight into Saturday morning that wraps up near sunrise. The rest of Saturday will be dry and pleasant with highs in the mid-60s.
Sunday looks good at the start, but then it degrades in the afternoon where rain showers pass through the state. A storm is developing northeast of New Jersey, which will cause rain to pass through our region. Thankfully, the storm is not organized overhead, so showers will be broken and lighter. This is beneficial rain.
