A Bridgeton man is wanted in connection with a vehicle theft and child abduction incident involving two young children, according to Bridgeton police.

Police said Rashaud Hannah, of Bridgeton, has been charged with two counts of kidnapping, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, theft of a motor vehicle, tampering with evidence and theft.

Authorities said the case involved a stolen vehicle taken from the Wawa at 101 E. Broad St. with two children, ages 1 and 7, inside.

Police said officers quickly located the vehicle and both children were safely recovered unharmed.
