Bridgeport Mayor Joe Ganim spoke with News 12 about the snow cleanup effort in the city overnight and throughout the day on Super Bowl Sunday. "…Many of them would have preferred to be home with their families, getting ready for the big game," Ganim told News 12 Sunday. "It just goes to show how dedicated they are – putting the people first, making sure the city is safe.”
He also thanked the public for abiding by parking rules, making it easy for Department of Public Works crews to clear the streets. "There's a culture of dedication here in the Public Facilities Department and it's amazing to see,” he said.
