Drivers on Playland Parkway in Rye should watch for lane closures as bridge reconstruction is scheduled to begin today.
The right lane in each direction will be closed beneath the Boston Post Road overpass, according to a Westchester County Department of Public Works notice shared by the city of Rye.
Boston Post Road is also known as U.S. Route 1.
The closures are scheduled to continue through Dec. 15.
News 12 saw notices along the route alerting drivers to the upcoming work.
The county is asking drivers to use caution in the area. The notice does not specify what time the closures begin or whether they will remain in place around the clock.
