Authorities are looking into the death of a 17-year-old boy who was reported missing earlier this week.
The Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office says that the teen, who was not named, was reported missing around 11:15 p.m. on Sunday. Officials say first responders searched for several hours but did not find the boy.
The prosecutor says that officers were then called to the area of Grover’s Mill Road around 7:45 a.m. Monday for reports of an unresponsive person. Officials say that person was the missing teen. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A cause of death was not immediately provided.
Anyone who might have information about the incident is urged to call Detective Patrick Miller, of the Plainsboro Police Department, at 609-799-2333 ext. 1639 or Detective Javier Morillo, of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office, at 732-745-8843.
