A man was rescued from freezing marina waters Wednesday night after falling in and becoming unable to get out in Groton, police said.

Body camera video released by police shows officers pulling the man from the icy water after he had been submerged for about 15 minutes.

Police said the man was losing feeling in his arms and legs by the time officers arrived.

With help from a friend who kept the man's head above water, officers were able to haul him onto the dock.

The man was taken to the hospital for treatment, police said.
