Body cam video has been released showing Poughkeepsie officers arriving at a reported sword attack in June.

Police found two men holding the same sword—one gripping the handle, the other holding the blade.

When the younger man refused to drop it, an officer shot him.

He was identified as Brian Czornyj.

He later died at the hospital, according to police.

The attorney general is now investigating the shooting.
