Bloomfield police are searching for an 18-year-old wanted for attempted murder, authorities said.

Johan Ibarra is charged with stabbing a 17-year-old Tuesday afternoon on Walnut Street.

Officers responded around 1 p.m. Feb. 17 to a report of a stabbing where they found a juvenile victim with multiple stab wounds, police said.

Detectives identified Ibarra as a suspect and obtained an arrest warrant for charges, including attempted murder.

He was last seen wearing a black hoodie and tan pants, according to officials.

The victim was hospitalized and in stable condition as of Wednesday afternoon.
