Saddle up! Beyoncé is making her way back to New Jersey, bringing her Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin' Circuit Tour to MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford for five nights in celebration of her genre-defying eighth studio album “Cowboy Carter.”
Winning the award for “Best Country Album” at the Grammys earlier this year, “Cowboy Carter” features hits "Texas Hold 'Em" and “16 Carriages.” It is act ii of a planned trilogy of albums, following “Renaissance.” Dolly Parton, Miley Cyrus, Shaboozey, Post Malone and more are featured on the album.
Known for her dazzling productions and high energy performances, Beyoncé last performed at MetLife in the summer of 2023 when she took over the stadium for her Renaissance World Tour. She was spotted in the Garden State last year while filming a Levi’s commercial inside a laundromat in Nutley.
The music icon kicked off her Cowboy Carter Tour last month in Inglewood, California, with the help of her two daughters Blue Ivy, 13, and Rumi, 7, who both appeared on stage. Beyoncé is also taking her Cowboy Carter Tour to Chicago, Houston, Atlanta and Washington, D.C., as well as performing several nights in London and Paris this summer.
