All summer long. We have been showing off our island's best beaches. And this morning we are in Nassau County checking out Nickerson Beach news. 12 Jen C leak is live there now with more good morning Jen. And it is a great beach day out there. Hey, Rachel, it sure is. And even this morning, I think we either saw a dolphin or a whale. We're a little bit far away. It's hard to tell, but we did see the splashing and with me, I have David Graziosi. You are the park and rec supervisor and boy, there's so much to do at this beach. Definitely is Jen. We have cabanas. We have our athletic fields, we have our pitch and putt nine hole pitch and putt. We have multiple concession stands. We have plenty of beachfront as you can see over here. There's tons of water, there's tons of stuff to do. You guys got to come down here. I know it's getting a little bit chilly. So people who may not want to sit down on the sand, there's plenty to do, especially with the campgrounds. So we saw a bunch of trailers over there. Yeah. So we have campgrounds that you can bring your RV to. It goes all year round except for during the winter time. Right now, we have a couple of spaces available. So you got to come on down to see that too. Now, you told me you've been here for about, what, 2, 2.5 years. What's your favorite part about the beach? I love just the serenity of the beach and just being able to sit down and be quiet and look at the water. But I also love playing the pitch and putt in the nine hole. It's awesome over there. And you said the pitch is open in the fall time too. It is. It definitely is. Now, this is a county park. But even if you don't live in Nassau County, you could still come here. Oh, absolutely. 100%. We want as many people to come here as possible. So we're going to have some more fun here at the beach. Chill out and send it back to you in the studio, Rachel. All right, Jen. Thank you so much. It's Thursday. You know what that means? We're highlighting something that makes Long Island so special. Our beaches today, Jen Selig is checking out Nickerson Beach in Nassau. Oh, that was way too hard. We're playing pitch and putt here at Nickerson Beach and this is just one of the many amenities that you can do here with me. I have Caitlyn Oella. You are one of the administrators here at the beach and literally so much to do for the whole family. Yes, we have tons of amenities here from, for everyone from the RV park to the different pools and the courts that you could play on is something for everybody to do here. Our for wasn't that good. Not gonna like the camera sees it, but this is a place for anybody. Anybody can play golf. Yes, we have clubs for all ages. Anybody can come play. We're open to both Nassau County residents and non residents so anybody can come down and enjoy the golf course. And when you're on this golf course, I mean, we're lucky that we're the only ones here. This place gets packed out. Right. Yes, it definitely gets packed. You have a perfect view of the cabanas and you can see kind of down where the beach is, there's a lot of different wildlife and things down there that people enjoy as well. And we have a lot of beach here. Yes, we have about 30 500 ft of ocean shoreline. So there's enough room for everybody to come down and enjoy. What's your favorite part? My favorite part is the RV Park. I think it's super different and not every beach has a place where you could come and stay overnight as well. And just to reiterate, you don't have to be a nau county resident. I know this is a county beach, but anyone can have fun here. Yes, anybody could have fun here. We're open to everybody to come down and enjoy. Perfect. So, how about we finish our golf course and send things back to the studio?
