The massive new Bass Pro Shops location coming to Sayreville — set to be the brand's largest single-level store — is gearing up for its grand opening and looking to fill a variety of positions.
The 200,000-square-foot Outdoor World store is expected to open this fall in the Riverton retail complex off the Garden State Parkway.
The destination store will feature a 65,000-gallon Shipwreck Aquarium, a 12,000-gallon ray touch pool and live jellyfish exhibits, along with hands-on activities and immersive displays designed to connect visitors with the outdoors.
"We are honored to help create an unforgettable experience for families throughout the Tri-State Region," said Bass Pro Shops founder Johnny Morris. "This location and concept will be unlike anything ever seen in the outdoor retail industry and truly opens a new chapter in the Bass Pro Shops story."
Bass Pro Shops is working with artists and craftsmen to incorporate regional imagery and themes throughout the store.
In addition to fishing, hunting and outdoor recreation gear, the Sayreville location will showcase industry-leading boat brands as well as a lineup of ATVs and side-by-side vehicles.
To prepare for the opening, Bass Pro Shops will host a hiring event at the Sheraton Edison, 125 Raritan Center Parkway, on Wednesday, June 24, and Thursday, June 25, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
