Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect who left a man unconscious after a brutal assault Monday in The Bronx.

Investigators say the 45-year-old victim was walking near Boston Road when the man approached from behind and punched him in the face.

The suspect went on to flee the scene in an unknown direction, according to police.

EMS responded and took the victim to BronxCare Health System in stable condition.

Police have released a video of the suspect. Anyone with additional information is urged to call 1-800-577-TIPS.
