The Half Hollow Hills School District said an anonymous threat was made against Candlewood Middle School in Dix Hills.

The school district says the call was made Friday afternoon, and that there is no indication that staff and students were in danger.

Classes went on as normal for the remainder of the day.

The district says the incident may be linked to another incident involving a student, but offered no other details.
