3h agoPolice sources confirmed to News 12 that the man arrested for three slashings and a burglary over the weekend in Flatbush is also behind a slashing at a Burlington Coat Factory last month.
Sources said 27-year-old Odyssey Head, of Coney Island, slashed an 80-year-old man in the back of the neck while at the Burlington store located on Tilden and Flatbush avenues on Sept. 14.
According to police, Head committed four more crimes over this weekend - all in about 24 hours.
Police said Head broke into an apartment building on New York Avenue on Saturday morning, damaged a washer and dryer unit, then he set clothes on fire and ran off.
About an hour later, police said Head slashed a 37-year-old man a northbound Q train near the Cortelyou Road subway station.
Investigators said Head then slashed a second victim, a 53-year-old man, around 10 p.m. on Saturday near Brooklyn Avenue and Foster Avenue.
On Sunday, police say Head slashed a 56-year-old man on Newkirk Avenue.
Sources said the four victims, who are all men, were slashed in the head and are expected to survive.
Head faces list of charges including attempted murder, burglary, arson and assault.
As of Tuesday morning, sources said Head was still hospitalized and being evaluated before he faces a judge to be arraigned.
