7 injured, including 1 firefighter, after fire in Melrose building

Officials responded to a building fire on East 155 St. in the Melrose section of The Bronx this morning.
According to the FDNY, a call was received at 7 a.m. for a reported fire at 368 East 155th St. between Courtlandt and Melrose avenues.
A total of 12 units with 60 fire and EMS personnel responded.
The FDNY says EMS treated and transported a total of seven patients, including one firefighter to the hospital.
Their conditions are unknown.
The fire marshal is on the scene investigating.
The American Red Cross says it has registered four households including five adults and 8 children for emergency assistance, including temporary lodging and financial assistance.
