Four people are recovering in the hospital after a tree collapsed on them at Kelly Park Playground in Homecrest, according to the FDNY.

Fire and EMS personnel were called to East 14th Street and Avenue S at around 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

Citizen app footage from the scene shows the tree split at its base and tangled underneath the play structure.

Fire officials say paramedics took the four victims to Maimonides Hospital. They all suffered minor injuries, according to the FDNY.

High-speed winds from the Nor'easter knocked down a handful of trees across the borough throughout Saturday. One of those trees took a man's life.

News 12 reached out to the New York City Parks Department for a statement on the collapsing trees and is awaiting a response.
