A 22-year-old was shot and later died Friday at a hospital in Poughkeepsie.

It happened around 5:20 p.m. at Main and Garden streets. Police found Gabrial Mosca, 22, shot several times. A witness told News 12 that Mosca was on his bicycle at the time of the shooting and that he "saw two people running." A bicycle on its side remained on scene.

Mosca, a Hyde Park resident, later died at Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital.

The street was closed for much of the evening while investigators processed the scene.

Police have not announced any arrests and are asking that anyone with information about the incident call the department's confidential tip line at 845-451-7577.
