A teenage boy was killed, and another was injured during a shooting Saturday evening in Pelham Gardens, police say.

It happened at 1219 Adee Ave. around 6:20 p.m.

Both teens were taken to Jacobi Hospital.

The teen who was pronounced dead was shot in the chest, according to police. His identity was pending family notification as of Saturday night.

Police say the other teen, a 14-years-old, was shot in the arm and was in stable condition, also as of Saturday night.

Police say witnesses saw a group of males fleeing the location after shots were fired.

It was not immediately clear what led to the shooting.
