2 men indicted in $18K Airmont heroin bust
Two men accused of coordinating the sale of $18,000 worth of heroin have been indicted on multiple charges, according to the Rockland County District Attorney’s Office.
Prosecutors say 42-year-old Marvin Jeanty, of Monroe, and 23-year-old Jordan Miranda, of New Jersey, were apprehended in connection with a narcotics investigation by Rockland County authorities.
Investigators determined that the duo was involved in selling half a kilogram of heroin to other individuals on May 19.
The charges against them include multiple counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal sale of a controlled substance.
Jeanty was arraigned Friday in Rockland County Court. His bail was set to $100,000 cash or $1 million bond. His next court appearance is Nov. 25.
Miranda remains in custody of New Jersey authorities, awaiting extradition proceedings in New York.
