A 24-year-old man was killed in a crash early Saturday morning on the Major Deegan Expressway in The Bronx, according to the NYPD.
Police say the man was operating a two-wheeled device northbound near the Macombs Dam Bridge around 4:20 a.m., when he failed to navigate the roadway and struck a guardrail.
The man was ejected and sustained severe injuries.EMS pronounced him dead at the scene.
All northbound lanes of the Major Deegan are closed at the Macombs Dam Bridge as of 6 a.m.
No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
