Police say a 19-year-old man was fatally shot in Edenwald Wednesday.

Shots rang out near Secor Avenue and Boston Road, blocks from P.S. 723, just before 5:40 p.m.

Authorities say officers discovered the man with a gunshot wound to the back. EMS took him to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, where he died.
