Yonkers pilot escapes injury after rough plane landing at Westchester County Airport
A Yonkers man escaped injury when his plane belly landed at the Westchester County Airport on Sunday afternoon.
County Police say the pilot failed to deploy his landing gear.
Police say it happened around 3:30 p.m.
The 69-year-old pilot was the only person on board. He declined medical attention.
The plane was described as a Mooney M 20 aircraft. It was towed to a hangar.
It was not known where the plane was flying from.
