A Yonkers man will spend 18 years in prison for stabbing a man on Long Island, Suffolk County District Attorney Ray Tierney says.

Robert Borzowski was sentenced Wednesday.

Borzowski admitted he stabbed a 38-year-old man in the neck following an argument at a Babylon residence in 2025. The victim survived and continues to recuperate.

Prosecutors say Borzowski, who had prior convictions in New York and New Jersey, took off but was found shortly after and arrested.

The weapon used in the incident has never been recovered.
