A Yonkers man has been charged with burglary in New Rochelle.

According to police, a person reported hearing the sound of glass breaking at a home on Stephenson Boulevard on Monday afternoon.

He then saw a man entering the residence through a wide-door window.

When police arrived, they found a suspect hiding in a second floor bedroom closet.

65-year-old Leonard Wisher was taken into custody.

Wisher is also charged with criminal mischief.

Police say no one was home at the time of the incident.
