A Yonkers man is facing murder charges after a 34-year-old from the Bronx died from injuries related to a stabbing in Kingsbridge last month.
Tyrell Scott, 34, of the Bronx, was stabbed in the chest on July 20 and succumbed to his injuries two days later. His alleged killer, 21-year-old Javid Edwin, was arrested Monday, the NYPD says.
The violent scene unfolded around 5 p.m. in front of 3190 Riverdale Ave.
Witnesses say they saw a group of people arguing before Scott came running down the sidewalk and collapsed.
Police say paramedics rushed the 34-year-old to Saint Barnabas Hospital in critical condition. He died two days later.
Edwin faces additional charges, including manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon.
