Brooklyn FC's soccer club is giving local fans several ways to join in on the excitement of the FIFA World Cup without leaving the borough.
The club, Brooklyn's only professional soccer team, is planning a summer full of World Cup-themed events aimed at bringing the soccer community together.
Among the planned activations are "Football Fridays" watch parties at Threes Brewing locations in Gowanus and Greenpoint, where fans can gather to watch World Cup matches throughout the tournament.
Brooklyn FC will also take part in Downtown Brooklyn's Soccer Village on June 17 at Brooklyn Commons Park. The event will feature watch party activities and opportunities for fans to connect with the club.
The team will host "Rep Your Country Night" on June 20 during its match against the Tampa Bay Rowdies. Fans are encouraged to wear their national team jerseys and bring flags as they celebrate the global tournament.
The club says the events are designed to make the World Cup experience more accessible for fans while continuing its mission of growing the game in Brooklyn.
Founded in 2024, Brooklyn FC features both men's and women's professional teams competing in the United Soccer League ecosystem.
The World Cup runs throughout the summer, with Brooklyn FC planning additional watch parties and fan events leading up to the tournament final on July 19.
