Farm-to-table now has a new meaning to kids in Woodbridge.

On World School Milk Day, students at Beecher Road School met Stacey Sterns, a farmer from Mountain Dairy. The company supplies the milk that students drink at lunch.

Kids also poured their own milk from the school's new bulk dispenser into reusable cups. The dispenser was designed to reduce packaging waste.

Sept. 30 is known as World School Milk Day, which recognizes the role milk plays in school meals. Officials say the day also encourages kids to drink milk.
