Suffolk police are asking for the public’s help to identify two people who stole money from a business earlier this month.

The women made off with approximately $900 from an employee after completing a sleight-of-hand scam at Ollie’s Bargain Outlet.

Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers say the alleged larceny took place around 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 23 at the store located at 323 Middle Country Road in Selden, police say.

The individuals were caught on surveillance at the checkout and law enforcement officials are hoping someone recognizes them.
