A 39-year-old woman is recovering after she was stabbed overnight in The Bronx, police say. According to the NYPD, the stabbing took place Monday night around 7 p.m. near White Plains Road and Barnes Avenue. The victim was taken to Jacobi Hospital after she was stabbed in the stomach and slashed on her left arm. One person has been taken into custody, and the investigation remains active.
