New details are emerging about a fatal officer-involved shooting in Cape May County that left a man dead and a woman hospitalized.

The New Jersey Attorney General's Office says officers in Middle Township found a man holding a knife to a woman inside a vehicle last month.

Authorities say two officers opened fire, killing 37-year-old Andre Moore.

The woman was taken to a hospital with multiple stab wounds.

The Attorney General's Office is now investigating the incident, including whether any charges should be filed against the officers.
