A terrifying home invasion occurred in Jersey City on Sunday night, leaving a woman injured and sexually assaulted.

The incident happened just before 7 p.m. on McAdoo Avenue, where the suspect allegedly broke into the home through a window.

The victim is being treated for multiple injuries, and prosecutors are working to identify the suspect.

A description of the suspect was not provided. No arrests have been made.
