A woman and a man were shot in Red Hook late Sunday night, according to police. Both were taken to the hospital and are in stable condition. The shooting happened around 11:18 p.m. at Lorraine and Hicks streets. Police say a 30-year-old woman was shot once in the chest, and a 23-year-old man was shot once in his right shoulder. Police sources say the two were walking when they felt pain and realized they had been shot. Both were taken to Methodist Hospital. Citizen video shows emergency crews responding to the scene.
