A woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash Thursday in Ronkonkoma, according to police.

Authorities say Pamela Hanlon, 61, lost control on the Long Island Expressway and struck a guardrail near Exit 58 just before noon.

Police believe she may have suffered a medical issue prior to the crash.
