A Somerville man is facing murder charges after authorities say his wife was found dead inside their home.
Somerset County prosecutors say 55-year-old Ignacio Espinal was arrested Tuesday in West New York.
Authorities say 46-year-old Alyne Espinal was found dead during a welfare check at a home on Brookside Avenue in Somerville.
Prosecutors say she suffered cuts to her chest, neck and thigh.
Ignacio Espinal has been charged in connection with her death.
It was not immediately clear when he would make his first court appearance.
