A 28-year-old woman was critically injured in a hit-and-run crash Saturday in Sunset Park, according to the NYPD.

Police say the collision occurred at 7:37 a.m. near the intersection of 55th Street and Third Avenue.

The woman was struck by a Cadillac traveling southbound on Third Avenue.

The driver fled the scene following the crash.

The victim suffered head and body trauma and was transported to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
