The weather pattern continues to favor colder conditions in New Jersey and the Northeast. Temperatures are averaging 4-6 degrees cooler than normal, and the wind is making it feel like just another day on the planet Hoth. (Any “Star Wars” fans out there?)

Tomorrow’s temperatures will struggle to get to the mid-30s. A normal daytime temperature for this time of year is 41 degrees. Most of the state will range from 32 to 36 degrees.
It's breezy but wickedly gusty like Tuesday was. That wind will make it feel a lot colder out, so if you are spending time in the elements, dress in layers.
The cold will be sticking around for New Year’s Day. A quick clipper system will quickly drift through the region. Right at the stroke of midnight, a few snow showers will make an appearance to make the moment more magical and romantic.
