Strong winds and cold temperatures will be the story today. Canadian air has settled upon the region. Winds will gust to 45 mph. Temperatures will be near freezing for highs with wind chills in the teens and 20s. Snow showers are possible as we head toward midnight New Year's Eve with a weak clipper moving through.
New Year's Day will be dry with highs remaining below freezing. Temperatures will moderate some late week and into the weekend.
