After more than a decade, White Plains officially has a new mayor.
Justin Brasch was sworn in Friday during a ceremony at White Plains High School attended by hundreds, including Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins and Sen. Shelley Mayer.
Brasch, a Democrat and former city councilman, won the November election against Republican candidate Lenny Lolis.
Former Mayor Tom Roach did not seek reelection and instead ran successfully for Westchester county clerk.
About 500 people attended the inauguration.
