        What the NYPD, safety agents are doing to help rescue victims of sex trafficking

        The NYPD says they've seen sex trafficking cases every week and now its becoming even more common with minors as young as 15.

        January is Sex Trafficking Awareness Month and the NYPD, along with the Salvation Army and Brooklyn District Attorneys Office, are trying to rescue workers on the streets of the city.
        The NYPD says they've seen sex trafficking cases every week and now its becoming even more common with minors as young as 15.
        News 12's Brittany Cadet rode with them officials in East New York to get an inside look at how they try to help.
